Some of this is estimated because alot of this I don't remember very clearly lol.

7:00 am we arrived at the hospital. I was 1 centimeter dialated and stage -3. They put in my Iv and took my blood and gave me some misoprostol (cytotec) to help me dialate and let me tell you they felt like tons of paper cuts!!! I didn't wanna start pictocin until it was necessary so then I waited for 3 hours. After 3 hours they checked me again still had no progress so we tried another pill and waited more. Then we did 1 more pill at noon.

At 4pm I was starting to feel contractions and was in pain so we decided to start the epidural and pictocin. It was funny cause my doctor feel good (aka epidural giver) missed, and my leg had spasms. It was interesting, he also didn't speak very good english. He was chinese. After this I slept alot! I started dialating regularly though.

At 6am I woke up and had my blood taken. by the way the lady who took my blood sucked. She stuck the needle in my arm couldn't find the vein so instead of taking it out and holding down my vein like your supposed to she just wiggled the needle around. When she failed she tried the other arm and luckily the vein was giant so she couldn't miss. Everyday she repeated this routine. You'd think she woulda stopped trying the right arm...*sigh*

After this the doctors came in and said if Mikah didn't come down a few stages we would break my water. At 10am we decided to break my water. After this he started to come down more quickly.

At 2:30pm they came in and I was fully dialated so they asked if I wanted to push, I said sure. So they got prepared for me to deliever. Which was good because Mikah and I's stats started to decline.

At 3pm I began pushing, fully dialated and his head in stage 0. All my doctors were suprised cause I wouldn't stop pushing lol. In fact my mother kept having to remind me to breath and relax because I was turning blue and so I could wait for a contraction and push. I had Mikah right on the edge of coming but couldn't make it so we put the little plunger thing on his head and he popped right out.

I was so amazed at the whole thing he seemed like a dream. In fact my whole visit to the hospital seemed to fast. I mean 9 months of all the exhaustion sickenss and I only get a week in the hospital lol. Not fair! Everthing went really well except my stats were flying all over the place so nurses constantly had to check on me and such. I feel like giving birth and all this after stuff is alot easier than I was prepared for.

Mikah is so incredible. He is a very sweet baby who never cries almost sleeps through the whole night with the exception of 1-2 wake ups. Breastfeeding doesn't hurt. Its crazy I'm so happy to have him, I look forward to every moment I spend with him.
